Vietnam hotel matches global big boys for opulence

Ho Chi Minh City 5-star hotel Caravelle has been named among the 100 most luxurious hotels in the world by American magazine Robb Report. 
It is the only Vietnamese hotel to make it to the list of opulent properties in 42 countries on six continents.

The criteria for selection included having dedicated staff with thorough knowledge of the city and high-class rooms and equipment.

The hotel was opened in 1959 and was upgraded in 1998 to have 24 floors with 335 rooms.
